In the seventies george mc crae had a worldwide superhit with `rock your baby`. This one is the original loop of the drum machine ,which i created with audacity,using sine tones and filtered noise.

50 claps made in blok modular from scratch. Supposed to sound very unrealistic/dry/drum machine-like as possible so you don't have to sample the real thing. Some of these use asymmetric waveshaping which adds dc offset (0 hz noise) so you may want to highpass the crustier ones. I would've uploaded a zip of the individual hits but because of the way freesound works you'll have to chop it up yourself.

Walked into my studio this morning and my r-8 was producing this sound somehow. Maybe my cat did it?maybe my kids did it?maybe it was aliens?.

Rhythm machine single drum hits, crushed and distorted. Ideal for layering your drums. You can use adsr to lower the length of the sounds, since they all have a noise tail. Check out the other sounds from this pack too.

Here's a fact: drum machines are fun.

I needed some new synthetic drum samples, this is done with a variety of free drum synthesis plugins, a bit of effects and randomization.

Samples of the legendary boss dr-110 *. These are one-shot samples of the entire boss dr-110 drum machine. This is a vintage analog drum machine, and every recording of the circuit's output is unique. As such, i believe recordings of the machine to be freely distributable. No harm/ financial gain is intended by this upload, only love! enjoy!.

808 drum sounds played through an orange amplifiers "micro crush" miniamp recorded for stereo ambiance in the original batcave. These work well as drum layers under more conventional sounds, and in other creative ways. Recording assisted by steve and mikro.

Here is a morphagene reel made out of a free yocto sample pack, originaly released on my label concrete collage. It is a "round robin" sample pack, meaning there is a few hits of every instruments (kickdrum, snare, etc) to make it feel a little bit more "alive" than usual drum mahcine samples. An almost similar snare sound to that of idioteque in radiohead's 2000 album kid a. Though it is meant for experimental style, i think it would work with any form of electronic music. It was created by resonating noise from audacity, filtering it, fading it out, stretching it and compressing it. It has a characteristic sustain to it. Imagine it as a mix of a gunshot, cymbal, shaker and snare. Feel free to use it in any way you like. If you ever use it publicly or commercially, notify me so that i can hear how you used it.
